Women in Islam face a huge aspect of politics, this is known all over the world. There are many differences between male and female celebrations from previous years. When a couple gave birth to a boy it called for a celebration however when a female was born there was nothing to be done. As a female child ages they are taught to be helpful towards male for their future counterparts/mate. In the Quran, the Islamic version of a Bible, it states that females are entitled to half the inheritance of the sons. However, this rule is often disregarded and is left alone. Previously, women would inherit nothing but as time goes by the females are gradually starting to get a portion of the inheritance. Women are prevented from driving motorized vehicle or a bicycle and they are also not allowed to accept a ride from someone who they are not related too. Women were not able to leave the country without written consent from their husband giving them permission to leave. Also, females can easily lose a case of custody over their child. The law was more one sided towards the male allowing them to do anything and not having to worry about jail. A women could get raped and the police would simply send them home, this was the situation these women were facing in their homeland.
